The cornerstone of the program will be the premiere performance of the 2017 National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America.
Under the baton of Marin Alsop, the full orchestra will perform selections by Mahler and John Adams; the program will also include an entertaining mix of interviews, personal stories, and chamber music performances showcasing the inspiring members of the 2017 orchestra.
The live taping is approximately 90 minutes, without intermission, and is recommended for ages 7 and up.
