Jim Frank is a Westchester County-based artist and educator with over 35 years of professional practice. His work is in the collections of the Smithsonian Museum of American History, the Neuberger Museum of Art, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Prof. Frank has taught internationally in Spain and England, and his photographs have been exhibited and published internationally. As a professional photographer, Frank has photographed over 10,000 works of art. His clients include the Museum of Modern Art, the Neuberger Museum of Art, the Museo Renia Sofia, The Merrill C. Berman Collection of Graphic Design, and the Abraham Lincoln Memorial Library, among others.
Frank works in the Department of Communication and Media at Manhattanville College, with a focus on the creation of digital media. His latest photographs explore using an iPhone and Instagram. He has worked on the Manhattanville College ePortfolio Team since 2010, incorporating ePortfolios into his classes and encouraging students to create a marketable digital presence. He leads faculty development in the use of ePortfolio pedagogy and has presented at national and international conferences.
