Breast Cancer Alliance Annual Run/Walk for Hope & Inaugural Run/Walk Where You Live


On May 6th, runners and walkers of all ages—from toddlers to grandparents—will lace up their sneakers and join hundreds of Breast Cancer Alliance (BCA) supporters in Greenwich, CT for the organization’s annual Run/Walk for Hope. Recognizing the important role fitness plays in both prevention and recovery, BCA added a 5K run to its annual 1-mile walk in 2016.

Attract more birds! We are in the thick of spring migration and many pretty, interesting birds are headed our way. Chris Petherick of Wild Birds Unlimited of Fairfield will talk about which birds “summer” in our area, and how to attract them to our yards.


Celebrating Hope 2018


Celebrating Hope will honor its 6th year by showcasing the power of music. The annual Greenwich gala will give voice to the 77,000 Connecticut residents living with Alzheimer’s disease through song. Broadway star Abby Mueller (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Kinky Boots) will debut the original song, Life Is Beautiful, created and recorded by members of The Living Voice GAP Project.


31st Bruce Museum Gala


The thirty-first Bruce Museum Gala with the theme “Jewels of the Jungle” will be held on May 12 at Greenwich Country Club. This annual benefit raises critical funds that not only support the Bruce’s ongoing art and science exhibitions and educational programs, but also will refresh the museum’s science offerings, strengthen its potential in the arts, and expand its educational reach.
