Keely and Colin’s relationship started on a high note. Mutual friends introduced the pair at the Governor’s Ball Music Festival in New York City. After a courtship lasting a year and a half, Colin proposed to Keely on bended knee. Monsignor Robert Masset officiated at the ceremony at St. Louis Cathedral and a reception followed at Audubon Tea Room in New Orleans. In keeping with local tradition, the newlyweds and their guests danced through the streets of the French Quarter, led by The Paulin Brothers jazz band.
The bride, daughter of Gerry and Christy Gillen of Louisiana, graduated from St. Scholastica Academy and Louisiana State University. Keely is a handbag buyer for Saks Fifth Avenue in New York.
The groom, son of Richard and Lindsey Thune of Greenwich, graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy and the University of Pennsylvania. Colin works in finance for BlackRock in New York.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Greece before returning home to New York.
