Born in 1937, DUQUOC, a self-taught painter, has enjoyed a long and celebrated career. His lifework is influenced by the landscape of his beloved home in Brittany France and forever distinguished by bold and saturated canvases. His work may be found in distinguished collection, both public and private, worldwide.

For the second core exhibit of the 60th anniversary year Clay Art Center presents REVISIT: The Boneyard, which will feature 40 artists who have given workshops during the 60 year history of CAC in Port Chester. After each workshop, visiting artists leave behind their demonstration pieces so future students can reference the work.

Jazz at The Center III: A Celebration of Sonny Rollins and his Music


Voted by Miles Davis as the greatest tenor ever, Sonny Rollins is known for being an inventive saxophonist and an astonishing soloist. His fluid and harmonically innovated ideas, effortless manner, and easily identifiable sound, have influenced generations of performers. While Mr. Rollins won’t take the stage on this night, his legacy will be on full display as we close our Jazz Series.
