For Christina and Michael, love conquers all, even somewhat awkward first impressions. They met as college freshmen while she was performing some embarrassing stunts in Harvard Square as initiation into the Ballet Company. After dating for seven years, Michael took Christina on a surprise trip to Montreal. He proposed on a balcony overlooking the Old City Quarter and the iconic Ferris Wheel.
Father Jerome Borski officiated at the ceremony at the Church of St. Vincent Ferrer in Manhattan. A reception followed at the Metropolitan Club.
The bride, daughter of John and Mary Russell of Weston, graduated from Greenwich High School and Harvard University. She received her MBA from Columbia Business School and is the COO of ArtBinder in New York.
The groom, son of T. Robert and Kerry Zochowski of New York, New York, graduated from Delbarton School in Morristown, New Jersey, and Harvard University, where he got his master’s. Michael is founder and CEO of Promethean Labs in New York.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Mauritius, Botswana and Zambia before returning home to New York City.
