Celebrating Art for Alzheimer’s

Please come see an extensive exhibit of recent works of internationally acclaimed artists Jill Steenhuis and Sergio Ruffato at Gabriele’s of Greenwich on Friday, October 4th. Jill Steenhuis is an American-born French Impressionistic painter based in the South of France. Specializing in oil painting, lithography and watercolor, Jill captures the essence of Provence with her own personal poetry and vibrant energy.
“In my painting, the catalyst is nature. Through the act of painting, my soul engages in a dialogue”. Sergio Ruffato’s Metal Sketches series is a transcription of gestural drawings into metal sculptures. Through the study of dancers and figures in motion the artist has developed his own language of movement at first by sketching on paper and then in the manipulation of metal. There will be an Open House from 11am-3pm and an artists reception from 5-8pm. 15% of all sales will go to The Alzheimer’s Association. Gabriele’s will be open for lunch and dinner on the 4th and they will donate 15% of any meals from Art Show guests to the Alzheimer’s Association as well.
