Join Us For The Annual Foundation Of Hope Gala To Benefit The Youth Of Norwalk

Foundation of Hope, a not for profit providing free educational enhancing programs, recreational activities, therapeutic care in a safe, nurturing environment, invites you its second annual benefit gala on March 15 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at The Residence At Summer Street, 14 2nd St, Stamford, Connecticut. Reservations are required in advance and cost for the evening is $ 150 per ticket.
Foundation of Hope’s mission is to collaborate with charitable organizations to raise local awareness to social issues, disaster relief, medical assistance and humanitarian aid with particular attention to children and education. This foundation is dedicated to campaigning for families in the local community. They focus on children, at risk youth, immigrants and single parents, supporting families in the communities by offering free tutoring for college preparatory tests, English as a second language, basic computer skills and GED prep, all free at its Norwalk location.
Besides savory food and specially themed cocktails created just for the evening, a fabulous DJ to help guests dance the night away, entertainment for the evening includes a performance and dancing with Stamford’s own, Dance With Me Studios (DWM), an internationally recognized dance company founded by ABC’s Dancing With The Stars celebrity dancers, Maks & Val Chmerkovskiy. There will also be a silent auction with the opportunity to bid on stunning art created by the artists at UConn’s local art gallery, a beautiful addition to any space.
Local politicians who will be in attendance are Norwalk’s own Senator Blumenthal and Congressman Jim Hines, who have done so much to support children’s education and advocacy in the local community.
Foundation Of Hope provides educational enhancing programs, recreational activities, therapeutic care in a safe, nurturing environment. While promoting positive youth development, FoH partners with facilities to provide round the clock emergency shelter, crisis counseling and community educational programs for children of all ages and families dealing with a wide range of needs.
All services are free of charge at our South Norwalk location on Chestnut Street Norwalk, CT. Help provided includes tutoring & Recreational Programs, English as a Second Language class, GED preparation & testing, FAFSA/student application for financial aid, Employment/ job application, resume writing and referrals to employers, Referrals/Social Service agencies and resources in CT, Counselling/Therapy, Financial Wellness Seminar/Home Buyers Help, Interpretation/courts/schools/hospitals as needed, Translations (Albanian, Creole, French, Italian, Spanish), Documents, School’s transcripts, School’s transcripts, Birth, marriage, divorce, death certificates and Immigration/petition & Guide to Citizenship.
