“Griffins, Goblets, and Gold” is a tour in the Metropolitan Museum of Art inspired by the Harry Potter books; we’ll be looking at spaces and objects that might remind you of ones in the books. (Please note that there are no objects—or replicas of objects–from the movies at the Metropolitan Museum.) We use the books as way to connect with the art, and the art as a way to illuminate the books. We’re huge Harry Potter fans, and we’re always happy to hear which is your favorite book, or what your career in the wizarding world might be. Our tours are interactive and experiential; we use activities, drawing, and other fun stuff as a way to engage guests.
